A spring walk with my Fuji X-T1, which is a wonderful choice for a walk-around camera. I usually photographing people, and often on assignment – it’s rare to be able to just relax and photography what’s right in front of me.
We often say that the gear doesn’t matter; as if the equipment and the artistry were polar opposites, and at odds with one another. The truth is that they are intertwined. I’ve since sold the Fuji, but while I had it I was challenged to see my familiar town differently, and to photograph scenes I’d normally have passed by.
